Support Rang Rasiya Dance Center

Like most professional dance companies, Rang Rasiya cannot sustain its full operating budget through classes alone. Further, many of our performances are offered at no cost as a way to increase visibility, expand access to folk dance, and build long-term community engagement.

As a result, we rely heavily on grants and the generosity of community members to support our fixed operating costs. Whenever possible, Rang Rasiya also performs free of charge at public and nonprofit events that may not otherwise be able to afford professional dance programming, in service of our mission to broaden awareness of Garba and Raas beyond traditional festival spaces.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward essential expenses such as studio rentals, event and competition fees, and travel costs. This does not include dancer compensation—Rang Rasiya team members currently volunteer their time and labor in support of the organization’s artistic and cultural goals.

Rang Rasiya is fiscally sponsored by Allied Arts, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As a result, all donations made in support of Rang Rasiya through Allied Arts are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donations can be made securely through the Allied Arts donation platform and directly support Rang Rasiya’s programming, operations, and community performances. Contributions help offset essential costs such as studio rentals, event fees, and travel, enabling us to continue offering accessible performances and classes while growing the reach of Garba and Raas as a respected performing art form.

If your employer provides corporate matching, Rang Rasiya is eligible for your donations to be matched. If your employer uses a specific portal, contact us so we can submit documentation to be an approved organization in your portal.
